The MediaWall Edge Blend Unit
|
Edge-blending is a method whereby two or more video/data projectors are used together, with part of their images
overlapping to create a seamless presentation on a wide screen. The term "edge blending" relates to the fact that
the overlap needs to be carefully handled to prevent brightness discontinuities.
The Edge Blend Unit is an accessory device for all MediaWall® display processors. It provides the ability to
feather the overlapped edges of the MediaWall's outputs to create a seamless projected display. Outputs can be
aligned vertically and horizontally. Each unit handles a single channel and is placed inline between the MediaWall
processor and the projector. Using multiple units, seamless displays up to 2 x 3 are possible.

Linx™ DVI Matrix Switcher
|
The Linx is a high-performance non-blocking DVI 8 x 8 matrix routing
switcher, with eight inputs and eight outputs. All inputs are available
to any or all of the outputs. The Linx delivers pure digital switching
and routing of DVI signals. When combined with digital signal sources
and digital displays, it allows for fully digital end-to-end signal
distribution. The Linx switcher accepts input signals up to 1600 x 1200
and 1080p, and supports the full 1.65 Gbit/sec DVI standard. In
addition to switching picture information, the Linx supports
pass-though EDID DDC allowing for transparent communication between
output and input devices. The Linx also provides for programmable or
manual override of the EDID. Maintaining digital signal integrity is
crucial in a digital switcher. The Linx is unique among DVI switchers
in providing optimal signal fidelity. The Linx corrects jitter and
signal distortion errors with both bit and pixel reclocking. RGB
Spectrum is the first to offer this dual reclocking capability. The
Linx also offers built-in cable equalization on all inputs to extend
cable lengths up to 50 meters without the need for external signal
extenders.

Integrated Control System with KvM
|
RGB Spectrum announces the new Integrated Control System with KvM for
its SuperView® 4000-6/6 and 4000-8/8 Windowing Systems, combining in a
single application control of the display processor and the computers
displayed. The SuperView processor outputs computer and video signals
in multiple windows on a single display. An on-source cursor provides
"drag and drop" control of the position of windows, their scaling and
priority. Adding control of the source computers creates a single
"Multi-window Desktop", a control system that seamlessly moves between
display control and computer control.
